Urban performance elaborating how to personalize the public space
Are people able and willing to selforganise the city space with their own principles?
The Lower Silesian Festival of Architecture 2011
Civic space seemingly dose not offer mobility and easy freedom in manipulation its affordances. The research examine if urban environment allows to flexible adaptation by users. During particular stage, temporary elements are situated to provoke inhabitants to use them. The public places such as the market square, a bridge, a park are filled by tables, chairs, lamps, hammocks, books, food and people. These components provoke and stimulate passers to interact with them.
